In this new paper, Franziska Pradel and I experimentally examined the impact of terrorist attacks as reminders of death on attitiudes towards alcohol attitudes. We also tested for the the moderating role of conscious death-related thoughts and alcohol-based self-esteem. [Link to the paper]
